Apokyn Starter Kit

This multi-faceted product was developed to help patients with Parkinson's disease self inject Apokyn when a loss of mobility (off episode) is imminent. It's not just educational, it's a versatile travel kit that includes critical patient aids that can be carried anywhere. It contains:

• A laminated injection mat on which to load the cartridge into the injection pen.
• Diagrams where the correct injection sites are on the body.
• An injection sponge, primer towel to protect clothing and surfaces, dosage dial magnifier and directions for use.
• Logos placed on the inside flaps of messenger tote and fanny pack ensuring patient anonymity and discretion.

We added to the kit a versatile fanny pack, to provide portable access and be worn anywhere. It carries the filled Apokyn syringe, alcohol prep pads and additional needles. It also carries something else: a healthy amount of goodwill for our client.
